What a fun post! As someone who just broke their leg this week and has been feeling pretty bummed about losing my fitness and a season of planned adventures, I appreciate that you often post about topics outside of running too. It’s a nice reminder that we can (& should) have things that bring us joy outside of being active, like my dog (aka the loml), reading, and community - even if it’s hard to feel that right now.
I'm really sorry about your broken leg. I imagine that's a rough place to be with summer adventures on the schedule. I hope your dog, books, and friends can bring you joy over the coming weeks as you heal up! If you've read anything particularly good lately, let me know as I'm always adding to my want-to-read book list.
I love this post! We to had a houseful of critters. Dogs, cats, bird, bearded dragon, guinea pig and shrimp and fish! I am a sucker for strays and volunteer at the Humane Society!
Wow! What a beautiful family you have. Thank you for sharing the stories about all of your babies.. It made me laugh so much and feel so happy that there are people like you and your partner in the world looking after these Divine beings
I came for the running but stay for the fur (and fur-less) babies 🥹❤️
thanks for reading, Abby! I'm glad you enjoy all of the animal content!

Reading this made me so happy! You two have such big hearts for all of these precious souls! As a fellow animal lover, I thoroughly enjoyed this read!
Thanks for reading, Amanda!
My favorite read thus far <3 I loved (virtually) meeting them all!
I'm glad you got to virtually meet them, Alexa!
Get out of here with all this cuteness!
Thanks, Ammie!
Clearly you should never be allowed to travel. : ). Great post, and you are a good hoomun for taking care of more than your fair share of creatures
Ha! I agree. Travel is too much of a liability for us as who knows what we're prone to bring home!
